One of the things that makes Entertainments Unlimited different is that the company is entirely owned and operated by experienced working musicians who are dedicated to the social events industry. This means that we take very seriously our commitment to honesty in business. We've been and intend be here for the long run (we've managed 42 years so far!), and cooperation and mutual respect are crucial to longevity in the music business. We're very proud of the good reputation we have established, and the many friends we have made over the years. 
Our boss spent 25 years as a professional bandleader, playing at many weddings in his time, so he really does have hands on experience.

Entertainments Unlimited was vetted and licensed by the Department of Employment to operate as an entertainment agency.
Although we usually supply our own bands and discos, if we need to source something for you we will only deal with agencies we trust. We are all warned constantly on television about ‘cowboy’ operators in building, plumbing etc., but seldom warned about the entertainment business! 
Put simply, we know who to trust, and you probably don’t!
We can supply all sorts of bands, duos, harpists, string quartets, jazz etc. To help you make your choice, we will give you with a list of the band's or disco's dates and venues, so you can see them.
Band or DJ?  Many couples have trouble deciding whether to have live music or a DJ for their reception. While bands are generally more expensive, live music is often perceived as being more sophisticated or upmarket than DJ services (we are not saying that is our opinion!). A live band can also back Uncle Geordie if he decides to sing his favourite song to you! 
On the other hand, most young adults these days have grown up in a DJ culture, and would prefer a DJ as the main dancing entertainment.
Hiring a disco is usually much less expensive than hiring live musicians.
However, just because it is less expensive does not mean that it will be second rate. The right ‘all rounder’ DJ offers  great versatility, he is able to play any type and any piece of music.
A great band with DJ filling up the night (when the older guests have gone to bed!) is the ideal solution. If price is the main issue, then a DJ plus a small unit band like a duo is the right choice. It is our opinion that the most comprehensive option is to book a disco and band combination to cover the full musical spectrum of live music and disco sounds.
For people who are looking for that ‘extra something’ to entertain their guests at a wedding, we believe that a magician and/or a caricaturist are two of the most popular options available and both help to make a wedding day more fun.

 When you decide that we have something to suit you, we will agree a mutual contract, which includes a deposit to hold the date. A receipt will be sent.
We will send you everything in writing, including the phone numbers of the lead person of the act(s) you book, so that you can personally discuss any finer points such as the number for the first dance.
